September-October 2024: The 14th International Aikido Summit, Tokyo, Japan

In September and October, Adrian Munteanu sensei travelled to Japan to train with some of the most skilled masters in both empty‑hand and sword techniques. The 14th International Aikido Summit took place in Tokyo, featuring seminars, demonstrations, forums, and General Assembly meetings. During the event, four countries were accepted as full members of the IAF and eleven as associate members. The 15th IAF Summit is scheduled for 2028 in Tanabe City, and we look forward to being part of it once again. Alongside attending this major international gathering, Adrian also had the privilege of training intensively at Hombu Dojo, the World Aikido Aikikai Headquarters, deepening his connection to the art at its very source.
