12th January 2025: Kagamibiraki Ceremony, Aikido Hombu Dojo
The Aikido Hombu Dojo held its Kagamibiraki Ceremony on Sunday, January 12th, 2025. Aikido Doshu Ueshiba Moriteru and Aikido Hombu Dojo-cho Ueshiba Mitsuteru each gave hono embu. Afterwards, the promoted persons were announced, and a presentation of the diplomas was held. 1150 persons were promoted to the ranks of Shodan through 8th Dan. Congratulations to each of them. 12th October 2024: 7th Edition of East Anglia Aikido Seminar
On Saturday 12th October, Inori Dojo had the great pleasure of hosting the 7th Edition of the East Anglia Aikido Seminar with Peter Brown Shihan, 7th dan Aikikai, and Kevan Ginns Sensei, 6th dan Aikikai. September-October 2024: The 14th International Aikido Summit, Tokyo, Japan
In September and October, Adrian Munteanu sensei travelled to Japan to train with some of the most skilled masters in both empty‑hand and sword techniques. The 14th International Aikido Summit took place in Tokyo, featuring seminars, demonstrations, forums, and General Assembly meetings. 21st July 2024: All Japan Boys and Girls Aikido Kisei Tournament
On July 21st, the 2024 All Japan Children's Aikido Training Meet was held at the Nippon Budokan. 1,514 children from 138 organizations from across Japan participated in the event. April 2024: Trip to South Devon
Sensei Adrian Munteanu, one of Inori Aikido club’s instructors, took a trip to South Devon to see Dimitri Crenier, one of Europe’s youngest teachers. Dimitri sensei started Aikido at the age of 9 and trained in Belgium and Tokyo. Now a top couch, he achieved 6 th Dan in 2017. March 2024: Inori Aikido Dojo at UKA Winter School
During the first weekend of March, members of Inori Aikido Dojo traveled to High Wycombe to train under Ryuji Shirakawa Shihan, 6th Dan Aikikai Aikido—a teacher renowned for his precision, power, and dynamic movement.
